Prof. Urvashi Sharma

Prof, (Dr.) Urvashi Sharma (Ph.D, B.Com (H), M.Com, MBA in HRM) is working as a Professor in the Department of Commerce, Faculty of Commerce and Business, Delhi School of Economics, University of Delhi. She had 23 years of teaching experience in India and NCT, Sultanate of Oman. affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi. She is also working as the MBA(HRD) Programe coordinator in the Department of Commerce. She has completed her Ph.D in “Role of Cooperative Institutions in the Agricultural Development in Rajasthan” Her area of interest is Human Resource Management, Organisational Behaviour and Corporate Governance. She has presented a paper in Oxford Brooks University, U.K, on ,Food Culture, and New York City University, Brooklyn, U.S.A. on ‘a transformational leadership’. She has also done ‘Assessment Center’ certification course. 5 Ph.D s Scholars and 5 M.Phil scholars have completed and awarded their research degree under her supervision. She delivered many lectures in different colleges of Delhi University and other state. Also chaired many technical sessions. She is a life member of ‘Indian Journal of Commerce’ and ‘Indian Accounting Association’. She published many papers in Scopus Indexd Journals and have many books in her achievement. She also had patents in her credit.

Warden

Dr. Nirja Sharma

Dr. Nirja Sharma is an accomplished academic specializing in Buddhist Studies with over 20 years of teaching and research experience. She holds a Ph.D. from CCS University, Meerut. Currently, she serves as an Assistant Professor, Department of Buddhist Studies at the University of Delhi. Her research focuses on the intersection of Buddhism, history, and social justice, with numerous publications in UGC CARE-listed journals. Dr. Nirja has presented papers at international conferences and supervises Ph.D. and M.Phil. students. She is also actively involved in the university's administrative duties and academic committees.

Resident Tutor

Dr. Anshika Agarwal

Resident Tutor, NESHW

Dr. Anshika Agarwal is an Assistant Professor at the prestigious Faculty of Management Studies (FMS), University of Delhi. A Gold Medalist in her undergraduate studies, she completed her Ph.D. from the Delhi School of Economics, specializing in Finance. With a strong academic background, Dr. Agarwal has published several research papers in reputed Scopus and ABDC-indexed journals, contributing significantly to the field of finance. She has also explored contemporary financial themes, including Social Stock, with insights published in Financial Express. Beyond research, she has actively contributed to faculty development by organizing Faculty Development Programs (FDPs) and Refresher Courses. Additionally, she has played a key role in the development of Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs), enhancing financial education accessibility.
